Join our growing logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama, as a Material Handler! This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling, organizing, and transporting a variety of materials and products, using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will play a key role in supporting receiving, storage, and shipping operations. The ability to lift and move heavy items is required, and you must strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times. We are looking for reliable, energetic individuals who work well both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Use pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
- Organize and stack materials according to established procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
