Accuracy in documenting all outgoing shipments is paramount. Understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements will be a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipping information and addresses for accuracy.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
- Communicate with carriers and track shipments.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or a related role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
