We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Houston, Texas. This critical role is integral to our Logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload goods. Maintaining a secure and hazard-free work environment is our top priority, so adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. This position requires precision, experience, and a strong understanding of forklift operation best practices. Candidates must possess a valid forklift certification and have a proven track record of safe operation. The role involves periods of standing and walking, in addition to operating the forklift, and may require occasional Lifting of lighter items when not operating machinery. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and can work effectively within a team. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory in a safe and organized manner.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety rules and company policies.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
- Ability to perform incidental Lifting and manual handling when necessary.
