We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our team in the vibrant Virginia Beach, Virginia area. In this role, you will be central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their items accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve picking products from inventory based on order details and carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers. You will be responsible for ensuring that all items are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit and that packages are correctly labeled for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work at a fast pace. You will play a key part in our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order processing. Safety is a top priority; you must adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The role involves regular lifting and physical activity throughout the shift. Become a valuable member of our dedicated logistics team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from inventory.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order details against picked and packed items.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Use required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
