Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our logistics operations in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential for the efficient flow of materials throughout our facility, ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. Your responsibilities will include unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders, and stocking materials in their designated locations. You will operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods throughout the warehouse. A thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management is key. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all team members are expected to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving considerable lifting and manual handling. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming materials.
  • Verify inventory against shipping documents.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to designated storage areas.
  • Store inventory in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Assist in preparing outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and use necessary PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
  • Forklift operation experience (certification a plus).
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and warehouse safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
