Become an Order Picker on our dedicated team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specific items from our warehouse inventory based on order tickets, ensuring accuracy and speed. This position is key to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence. This role offers a solid hourly wage and the chance to grow within a reputable company. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order instructions.
- Using handheld scanners or order sheets to identify and locate products.
- Verifying the accuracy of picked items against the order details.
- Transporting picked items to packing stations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Meeting performance standards for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics department.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth order processing.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, able to stand for extended periods, and capable of lifting items up to 45 lbs. Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred, but not required. We value individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure. Safety is our utmost priority, and we expect all employees to follow strict safety protocols. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods to our customers.
