Join our energetic team in Washington, D.C. as a Picker/Packer! This role is key to ensuring our customers receive accurate and timely shipments. You'll be responsible for carefully selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify that picked items match order specifications (item number, quantity, quality).
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Transport packed orders to the shipping area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
