Become a vital part of our logistics network as an Order Picker in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our efficient supply chain operations and requires precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will be working with advanced scanning technology and must be able to navigate our warehouse effectively. The job involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items, and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and supply all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse locations.
- Use handheld scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Verify product information against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with scanning equipment and technology.
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices, including PPE usage and Lifting guidelines.
