Become a key part of our operation as a Distribution Center Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This versatile role encompasses a range of warehouse activities essential for the efficient functioning of our distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and assisting with shipping preparations. We foster a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE . As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a critical role in our Logistics network, ensuring goods move smoothly through our facility. This role requires physical stamina, including significant Lifting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and team leads.
- Contribute to achieving daily productivity targets and team goals.
- Understand basic warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure accuracy in all aspects of order fulfillment and inventory handling.
- Operate scanning devices to track inventory movements.
