Job Summary:
We are recruiting a Warehouse Coordinator for our Sacramento, California facility. This pivotal role oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of our logistics process. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and optimizing workflow. You will implement and enforce company policies, particularly those related to warehouse procedures and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices. The role involves coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations. You will also be responsible for training new team members on proper procedures, including correct lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision or coordination and possess the ability to troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions under pressure. Your commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy will be key to success. Responsibilities include: overseeing all warehouse activities, managing inventory levels and conducting regular audits, scheduling and coordinating shipping and receiving activities, supervising and motivating warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining equipment and facility in good working order, and generating reports on warehouse performance. This is a leadership role that offers significant impact and opportunities for professional growth within the logistics field. The ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, is expected. We are committed to fostering a safe and productive work environment for all our associates. Experience with WMS software and a strong understanding of supply chain management are highly desirable.
