Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee operations at our Boston, Massachusetts location. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse, encompassing inventory management, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. A thorough understanding of safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is crucial. This position requires leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle the demands of a busy logistics environment, which may include some lifting.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
  • Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring the correct use of PPE.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in logistics.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make sound decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
