Highly sought after surgical sub-specialty position for a Physician Assistant in a well-established Urology Clinic/Ambulatory Surgery Center. Working with the supervision of 4 attending physicians/surgeons, the PA will perform a variety of duties in the assessment, work-up and treatment of patients, providing quality urological care to our patients. The PA will serve as a patient liason between the patient and physician when necessary. The PA also functions as a first assistant to the surgeon in the operating room and will perform urological procedures. The PA will be on-call one week a month with a surgeon whom is also on call; also responsible for rounding on hospital in-patients.
Prior urology and surgical experience is recommended.
Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program.
Base salary guarantee, quarterly bonus (based on productivity) and a generous benefit package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance, 401(k) plan with company matching and profit sharing, plenty of paid time off and an annual CME allowance.
