Job Responsibilities
* The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
* This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals
* Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort
* Monitor patients’ vital signs throughout the procedure, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed
* Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to anesthesia administration, including reviewing medical history and current medications
* Manage pain control post-operatively, providing appropriate interventions as necessary
* Maintain accurate medical documentation related to anesthesia care and patient monitoring
* Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
* Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and participate in continuing education opportunities
* Your expertise as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will play a crucial role in enhancing the procedural experience for our patients
Job Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient care protocols
* Must hold a valid license as Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in GA
* Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist Education programs of it predecessor
* Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment
* Experience in pain management strategies and medication administration
* Proficient in medical documentation practices related to anesthesia care
* Excellent patient care skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
