We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to support our operations in Sacramento, California. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will be involved in routine maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Your contribution will directly impact our Logistics capabilities and ensure a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with warehouse machinery, and a dedication to Safety. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with the implementation of new equipment. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential problems is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, palletizers).
- Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes.
- Maintain logs of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory for maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and best practices, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the Logistics department by ensuring equipment uptime and reliability.
- Participate in safety training and emergency preparedness drills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Familiarity with Safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
- Knowledge of Logistics equipment is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform repairs, including moderate Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
