We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in San Jose, California! As a vital member of our Logistics operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods. Your responsibilities will span receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products within our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Accurately pick items based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, palletizing, and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving the Lifting and moving of items, following safe lifting practices.
- Contribute to team goals and support overall warehouse efficiency in our Logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and following all established procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
