We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be integral to our daily logistics operations, handling goods from arrival to departure. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We place a high priority on safety, and all associates are expected to follow strict safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of varying weights. A proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace are essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming inventory, verifying counts and quality.
- Store materials and products in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring readiness for shipment.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety guidelines.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Comply with all established safety rules and regulations.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Contribute to overall team performance and efficiency in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform sustained physical activity, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
