Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric, propane) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from different areas of the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before each shift for safety and operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and traffic rules.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Proper lifting techniques are important for manual tasks.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices.
