We are searching for a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in San Jose, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement of goods, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and safely. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of warehouse safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We are committed to providing a secure and productive work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.
- Storing materials in designated locations and ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure optimal working condition.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Identifying and reporting any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Managing the safe and efficient flow of goods within our logistics network.
