This position is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing materials for shipment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various materials, including regular lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and sort incoming inventory.
- Safely move materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
