We are seeking a diligent and energetic Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to our operational success. This position is key to ensuring timely and accurate shipments, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work closely with inventory management to maintain stock accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed. Adherence to all safety protocols and company policies is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify product quantities and descriptions against order details.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Contribute to team goals and objectives.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
This position requires a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a successful logistics operation. We prioritize safety and ensure all team members are trained on proper lifting techniques and the use of appropriate PPE.
