We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our Austin, Texas operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse, ensuring efficient handling and storage of materials. As a Material Handler, you will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move, organize, and stage inventory. Your attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work efficiently are key to success in this logistics-focused position. - Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and into designated storage areas.
- Transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement.
- Stack and organize inventory to maximize space and accessibility.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking procedures.
- Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and safety procedures is essential.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety footwear and protective eyewear.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and adapt to operational needs.
