In this essential role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent spatial awareness. You will play a crucial part in inventory management, order fulfillment, and the overall flow of goods within our facility. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and involves regular use of a forklift in a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve goods from warehouse racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and traffic rules.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and operational improvement initiatives.
