We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee key operations in our Tampa, Florida facility. This role is pivotal in managing the flow of goods, ensuring efficient inventory control, and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal warehouse organization, managing inbound and outbound logistics, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse management or coordination, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics operations. This position requires excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively. While direct physical labor may be less frequent than in associate roles, the ability to assist with lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical checks as needed is beneficial. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Generate reports on inventory, shipments, and operational performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
