While not involving constant heavy lifting, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Communicate shipment status updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and files.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper labeling and packaging.
- Assist with organizing and staging shipments for carrier pick-up.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Identify and report any shipping discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize shipping processes.
