We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our innovative team in Sacramento, California. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse facilities and equipment. This role involves a combination of hands-on tasks, including equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring all safety systems are functioning correctly. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and palletizers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to identify potential Safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all Safety equipment and systems (e.g., fire suppression, emergency exits) are in optimal working condition.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and racking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment is available and functional for daily operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance from others.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues related to warehouse infrastructure.
- May involve occasional moderate Lifting for equipment adjustments or installations, up to 40 lbs.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general Safety principles in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or certification is a plus.
