Become a key player in our dynamic warehouse environment as a Material Handler in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is essential for the movement and organization of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials and inventory to designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking and organizing.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, free from hazards.
- Support Logistics team members in achieving daily operational goals.
- Perform regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong understanding of material handling equipment operation and Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all Safety protocols.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
