We're hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Boise, Idaho! This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting. Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect items for quality and condition before packaging.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Stage completed orders for pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ensure correct usage of all required PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to comply with all company policies, including wearing designated PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
