Job Summary:
Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital for ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as a commitment to Safety and proper handling of materials. You will work closely with the warehouse team to support daily operations. The use of appropriate PPE is mandatory at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated areas.
  • Generate inventory reports as required by management.
  • Assist in the identification of damaged or obsolete stock.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and errors.
  • Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Uphold all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Familiarity with WMS software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices within logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 pounds).
  • Adherence to all Safety regulations and willingness to wear required PPE.
  • High school diploma or GED.
