We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our growing Logistics operation in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials throughout our facility, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, transferring goods between different areas of the warehouse, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A strong commitment to Safety is a top priority, and all employees are required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated. This position involves regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Experience with forklifts and other warehouse equipment is advantageous. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Your role is critical to our daily Logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from vehicles.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods.
- Store materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Assist with inventory cycle counting.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
