This position involves working with a variety of products, utilizing scanning technology, and adhering to strict quality control measures. Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch, coordinating with the shipping department.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling techniques.
- Participate in training sessions to improve picking and packing efficiency and accuracy.
- May involve some Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanning devices.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Logistics operations is a plus.
