We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for our state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring the smooth functioning of our Logistics operations. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and the mandatory use of PPE is paramount. This position requires a high level of skill in operating forklifts, attention to detail, and the ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety and operational readiness before use.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company policies related to warehouse operations and Logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Understanding of Logistics principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
