Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies; maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with external logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination, management, or a similar logistics role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting, including PPE requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
