Our state-of-the-art distribution center in New York City, New York, is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing family. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, managing the flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in diverse tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining the operational efficiency of the warehouse. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively and maintain our position in the competitive logistics market. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is highly preferred.
- Capacity for physical tasks, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Proactive approach to safety and a commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
