We are hiring a certified Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and safety-minded individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack pallets and materials.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
- Assist with order picking and staging as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed, potentially including manual Lifting of items.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and best practices.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
