We have an exciting opening for a Material Handler in our Kansas City, Missouri facility. This role is key to our warehouse operations, supporting the seamless flow of goods and ensuring the efficiency of our Logistics processes. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for processing or shipment. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transferring items between different areas of the warehouse, and maintaining an organized inventory. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety ; all employees must utilize the provided PPE and strictly follow safety procedures. The position requires physical capability, including significant standing, walking, and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 pounds. We are looking for dependable individuals with a good work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is beneficial, but we provide on-the-job training. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and sort incoming materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Stack, palletize, and wrap materials as required.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Wear and maintain all mandated PPE .
- Support efficient Logistics by ensuring timely material handling.
- Must be able to manage substantial Lifting throughout the shift.
