We are seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk for our facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position is integral to our operational success, ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Key responsibilities include managing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipment records. Responsibilities:
- Process and document all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Verify product details against shipping orders before dispatch.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain detailed records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.
- Inspect packages for proper labeling, packaging integrity, and adherence to standards.
- Operate shipping equipment and software efficiently.
- Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Strictly follow all established safety procedures and wear required PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed, which may involve occasional manual lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a Shipping Clerk role or similar shipping/receiving position.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of shipping best practices, documentation, and carrier management.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to perform occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Dedication to upholding high safety standards and properly using PPE .
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
