Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is hiring for a Picker/Packer position. This is a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked and carefully packed for shipment to our valued customers. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, verifying their correctness, and preparing them for transit. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Accurately selecting products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Double-checking orders for accuracy before packaging.
- Applying correct shipping labels to packages.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe work area.
- Following all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wearing and utilizing required PPE at all times.
- Meeting established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Participating in inventory counts as directed.
- Supporting the smooth functioning of our logistics department.
This role requires standing for extended periods and the capacity for lifting items up to 40 lbs. Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is beneficial. We seek reliable individuals who can work both independently and as part of a team. Safety is a paramount concern, and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. As a Picker/Packer, you are a key player in our logistics process, directly contributing to the customer experience.
