We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in New York City, New York. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance. This leadership role is critical to our Logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our facility. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing operational improvements, fostering a culture of productivity and excellence. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control is essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring all team members comply with company policies, particularly those related to Safety and the proper use of equipment. Your leadership will directly impact the overall success of our warehouse operations. We are committed to creating a safe and respectful work environment for all employees. This position involves hands-on involvement as well as supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Achieve productivity and performance goals for the warehouse.
- Monitor and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure all team members utilize appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Logistics department.
