We are actively recruiting for an Order Picker position within our dynamic warehouse located in Austin, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be a key player in our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. Your duties will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying specific products, and preparing them for shipment. This role demands a high level of accuracy, physical capability, and a steadfast commitment to Safety within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product identification, quantity, and quality against order requirements.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking and staging process.
- Stage completed orders in the designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment in accordance with all Safety protocols.
- Utilize required PPE consistently, including safety footwear and any task-specific gear.
- Participate in inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Meet established goals for picking accuracy and productivity.
- Report any stock issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervision immediately.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting and movement throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe workplace.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
