Join our bustling warehouse in Seattle, Washington, as a Forklift Operator! We're looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to handle the movement of goods within our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you'll be instrumental in the smooth operation of our logistics chain, ensuring materials are transported efficiently and safely from receiving to storage and out to shipping. This role demands precision, reliability, and a strong adherence to safety standards. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and stock inventory. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential, as is performing daily pre-operation checks on your forklift. The ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of items not suitable for forklifts, is part of the job. We emphasize the importance of wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and the safety of your colleagues. Your dedication to safe forklift operation and contribution to our logistics flow will be highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly wear all required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through timely material handling.
- Be prepared for occasional manual Lifting tasks.
