Join our expanding logistics operations as a Picker/Packer in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory based on order lists and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution center. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe working space for all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify picked items against order forms to minimize errors.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform moderate lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency with barcode scanners and order management systems.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
