Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? We're hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida! This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, performing adjustments, and implementing measures to prevent future errors. Your work directly impacts our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in stock and ready for our customers. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This is a key role in optimizing our warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between the WMS and physical stock.
- Perform inventory adjustments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with warehouse staff and management to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain management functions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control, inventory management, or a related warehouse role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
