Responsibilities:
* Performing dental hygiene procedures, such as prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and debridement
* Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
* Conducting oral cancer screenings and other diagnostic tests
* Maintaining accurate patient records
* Collaborating with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
* Maintaining cleanliness and sterility of equipment and treatment rooms
* Upholding infection control protocols
Requirements:
* Current license as a registered dental hygienist in the state of Massachusetts
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in using dental software and technology
* Knowledge of current dental procedures, guidelines, and protocols
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
