This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and Safety of our entire warehouse function. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating daily activities, optimizing workflows, and enforcing all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of logistics operations, and a proven ability to motivate and guide a team. You will play a key role in inventory management, operational efficiency, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity in logistics.
- Ensure adherence to all company Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement control measures.
- Operate and manage warehouse equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and usage.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by staff.
- Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports for management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of Safety.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
