We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler to join our busy warehouse facility in Denver, Colorado. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. Your duties will include receiving incoming goods, verifying contents, and accurately storing them in designated locations. You will also be tasked with retrieving materials for orders and ensuring they are ready for the next stage of processing. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety . You will be operating various pieces of equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, and may occasionally operate a forklift after appropriate training and certification. We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive safety training to ensure your well-being. Understanding the importance of proper material handling techniques is crucial to prevent damage and maintain operational efficiency. This role is key to our supply chain and requires individuals who are reliable, proactive, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Retrieve materials for outgoing orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics .
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform manual lifting and moving of materials as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to operate manual material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capacity for regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety .
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE .
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
