We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating various pieces of warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment is in safe working order. This position is critical to our Logistics network, as operational efficiency depends on reliable machinery. We are deeply committed to workplace Safety and expect all technicians to adhere strictly to safety protocols and utilize all required PPE . Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor systems, forklifts, automated machinery).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating proficiency.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use and maintain all required PPE diligently.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or maintenance technician role.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment.
