Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Dallas, Texas? We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our logistics network. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE. Your dedication to efficiency and Safety will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and loading docks.
- Load and unload materials as required.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Ensure that all materials are handled and stored properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times when performing duties.
- Participate in team efforts and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to a strong Safety culture.
