We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving inventory, organizing stock, fulfilling orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position requires individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You'll be working as part of a larger logistics network, so teamwork and clear communication are essential. The ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines is crucial. We prioritize safety above all else, and all associates are required to follow established safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves physical activity, such as lifting and moving packages, so a good level of physical strength and stamina is necessary. Your accuracy and diligence in handling inventory and fulfilling orders directly impact our customer satisfaction and the success of our logistics operations. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals ready to contribute to a dynamic team and grow within the company. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to excellence are key.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Participate in team efforts to meet operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving of goods.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes in logistics.
