Join our busy warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Receiving Clerk! This crucial role is the gateway for all incoming products. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing shipments, ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and correctly entered into our system. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and understands the importance of efficient Logistics . You will work closely with carriers, warehouse staff, and management to maintain a smooth flow of goods. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and accuracy in all receiving operations. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from delivery vehicles and verify against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Inspect all received goods for damage or discrepancies and document accordingly.
- Enter received inventory data accurately into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Organize and stage incoming inventory for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe receiving area.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipments.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other inventory control activities.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
