We are seeking experienced operators to safely and efficiently move, stock, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that our operations run smoothly. You will be operating a reach truck to place and remove pallets from high-rise racking systems, manage inventory flow, and support picking and packing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift/reach truck operator certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work in a demanding environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stock, and retrieve palletized materials.
- Load and unload trailers as needed.
- Safely navigate narrow aisles and high racking systems.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance on the reach truck.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization.
- Assist with order picking and put-away processes.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
- Valid reach truck operator certification and/or previous experience.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols, including PPE usage.
